My Story:

Olympic Mountain Guiding is owned and operated by Robert Williams, a professional certified Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor & Expedition Guide from the UK now based near Sequim, Wa.

Rob Graduated from university with a BA (Hons) in Outdoor Leadership and worked over 10 years in the UK outdoor & adventure industry before moving to the USA in 2016. Rob Holds the MCI, RCI, WML, WFR and AAIRE level 2 qualifications and is a trained Expedition guide. With over 2000 professional guiding and instructing days logged, Rob has led everything from team building activities and high ropes courses through to guided ascents of 20,000+ft Andean peaks.Rob has both a passion for mountaineering and climbing adventures and also a love of teaching others in the outdoors.

After moving to the Olympic Peninsula in winter of 2017 Rob began to fall in love with the wild and relatively under-used corner of Washington States wilderness. After realizing the wealth of opportunities and that there is a lack of professionally qualified guide services operating locally, Olympic Mountain Guiding was born.
